1. What sizes are included?
To be eligible for the discounted 6 month Swap Membership you need to bring in 7 items in sizes 14-20 or L- 1X. 

2. What if I don’t have 7 items in sizes 14–20?
You can still join SwapIt with a 6-month membership for $99. But to snag the $49 deal, you’ll need 7 swap-ready items in sizes 14–20 (L-1X) during October.

3. When does my 6-month membership start?
It’s up to you! Start immediately or wait until 10 people have joined. Either way, you can use your 7 swaps in October. Just let the SwapIt Team member in store know your preference. 

4. What if I decide to wait for 10 people sign up, but they don't?
Your card won’t be charged, and you’ll still have all of October to use your 7 swaps. After that, a regular membership is needed to keep swapping.

5. What counts as swap ready?
Clothing in great condition. To qualify for this promotion your clothing items can not have stains, tears, or damage. They need to be pieces you’d be excited to see someone else wear and love. 

6. Once I join, do I always have to bring in sizes 14–20?
Nope! Once you’re a member, you can bring in any size. But by continuing to bring in pieces in sizes14–20, you help keep the momentum going for others.

7. Do I need to wear a size 14–20 to qualify for the discount?
Nope! You don’t need to wear those sizes, you just need to bring in 7 swap ready pieces in sizes 14–20 to unlock the $49 discounted 6-month Swap Membership.

8. How can I purchase this promotion?
Come into store during any Swap Time (see hours HERE) with your seven items in any sizes between 14 & 20. Tell a SwapIt Team Member that you would like to join and they will be happy to get you started.

Our inventory covers all genres and style of clothing, all occasions and a large range of sizes (XS-2XL). We have brands all the way from Forever 21 to Boden to Burberry. One-month Swap Membership Trial FAQs


1) What is a one-month Swap Membership trial?

A One-month Swap Membership trial allows non-members to experience all the benefits of a Swap Membership for one full month. You get everything that a full membership offers including unlimited swaps. Give something up from your closet, get something new from our closet. You also get unlimited access to swap appointments as well as the opportunity to be styled with our Basic Swap & Style (for an additional $30 fee) and 10% off anything else we offer. 

2) Why is this so exciting?

Usually we do not offer a trial membership. Typically we require you to sign up for the full year (offering a 90 day, 5 item swap guarantee) but for the month of May we are letting anyone try it out. It's the perfect chance to upgrade your wardrobe while seeing if a full membership is right for you.

3) When is the Swap Membership trial?

The trial starts on May 1st and ends on May 31st. During that month you can come in as much as you like, swap as much as you like and take advantage of anything else we may decide to offer that month. 

4) How much does a one-month Swap Membership trial cost?

$37 for the entire month of May. 


5) Who is this best for?

People who wear women's clothing size extra small to size large. (We have a separate Plus Size offer so e-mail style@aswappinggoodtime.com if you are interested in learning more about that) 

6) What is swapping?

Swapping is when you bring an item of clothing in from your home to leave at SwapIt in exchange for bringing an item from SwapIt home. It allows you to clean out what doesn’t work for you and in exchange bring home something awesome for you. 

7) How do I come in?

For the most comfortable swapping experience, the store is accessible by-appointment-only. We will only allow 6 swappers in the space at one time. Once you sign up we will send you more info on booking times to come in. We offer day time, weeknights and weekend hours. 

8) Besides appointments, are there other ways I can swap with you during my membership?

Yes! Each week we do Facebook lives where we showcase items that we have received, but have not yet put on the swapping room floor. Members, and as a trial member you are able to comment on the video and we will put aside the items for you which you can take home at your next visit. 

9) Can I turn my one-month trial into a year-long membership?

Yes! Toward the end of the month, we will be offering all one-month trial members a deal to become a full time member. You don’t want to miss it!

SwapIt was already planning this initiative so women+ could try out our membership, get some great clothes and of course have some fun! 

But then something happened, that made this initiative have an even bigger meaning. 

A few weeks ago for the second time, a wonderful family in our Medford community who have been longtime clients at SwapIt had an anti-trans hate crime committed against them at their home. For the second time. This is not OK! 

The whole purpose of SwapIt is to love yourself and feel good about what you wear so that you can show up and bring your best self to the things you really care about -- whether that’s your family, your community, your career, or for many of us all of these.

We’ve always been a space that welcomes everyone. We fully believe that people should be themselves and express themselves as they see fit. By swapping clothing, we help you to experiment with your style and embrace change as your lives evolve, no matter what that looks like for you. 

So when we heard about these two hate crimes against our neighbors, we really felt compelled to do something. No matter who you are, what you stand for, or certainly what you wear, no one should ever feel unsafe, especially in their own home. 

Every member of our community deserves to be treated with respect. 

So at SwapIt we are not only here to speak out against this horrid and cowardly hate crime, but we are going to make it even easier for trans women to be themselves. 

Like we said we were already planning to run a new SwapIt Special called Fill a Tote. For one price, you can fill up an entire tote bag at SwapIt. It’s a great way to experience SwapIt for the first time and see if a membership is right for you. Now, for every Fill a Tote that is purchased, the same experience will be donated to a local trans woman. 

At the same time, we are organizing a larger clothing drive to show support from the surrounding community. Details to follow.

How does it work?
All About Jeans allows non-members to experience the power of the SwapIt inventory coupled with our styling services. Make an appointment and during the appointment you will be able to browse and try on tons of jeans all with the help of our stylist. Your appointment comes with one swap. Give something up from your closet, get something new from our closet. This allows you to take home a pair of jeans you love, while not overstuffing your closet!


What is included with All About Jeans?
An hour in store with hundreds of jeans and our SwapIt trained personal stylist. You also get to make one clothing swap. A swap includes any and all clothing and scarves at SwapIt. Bags, shoes and jewelry can be purchased. 


What if I want to take home more than one pair of jeans?
No problem! Additional clothing items can be purchased. Our prices are based on item type and range from $3-$15. Jeans are $10. Alternatively you can purchase a Swap Membership while in store and start swapping right away!


Why is this so exciting?
Usually swapping and personal styling are reserved for members only, but with All About Jeans anyone can come in to swap and get expert style advice. It's the perfect chance to get jeans that are comfortable, and that fit and flatter.

What is SwapIt’s Clearance Sale?
This is our chance to clear out inventory and invite the whole community to enjoy all the goodies we have been collecting over the whole year. The store will be stuffed with clothing, shoes, bags and more. Everything is just $2 and on Sunday the price drops to just $1. Items will be nicely hung, or on table and in bins. We want to get as much out for you to choose from as possible!

What type of clothing is at the clearance sale?
Everything! You will be able to find items that are new with tags and there will be items that have minor imperfections and everything in between. There will be clothing for every season. We will have dresses, jeans, coats, pants, tops, graphic t’s and more. Brands range from Boden to Michael Kors to Forever 21 to Ann Tayplor and J. Crew and hundreds more. Sizes will range from 0-2X.

What will be in store?
Clothing, outerwear, scarves, accessories, shoes and bags. All styles, tons of brands, all seasons. In conditions ranging from new with tags to slightly damaged. Ranging in size from 0-2X.

How does it work?
Swap With A Friend allows non-members to experience SwapIt with a buddy. You will make an appointment for you and your friend to come in together. During the appointment, you and your friend can both redeem up to 10 one-to-one swaps. Give something up from your closet, get something new from our closet.

Why is this so exciting?
Usually swapping is reserved for members, but with Swap With A Friend anyone can come in and swap. It's the perfect chance to upgrade your wardrobe while hanging with your bestie.

When can I Swap With A Friend?
You can purchase a Swap With A Friend appointment to be used for a one-hour time slot on Sunday, September 12th at:

How much does it cost?
$42 per appointment, which includes you and your friend.

Can I do Swap With A Friend alone?
$42 covers the experience for two people. If you would like to come alone, you are welcome to do so, but there will be no reduction in price. Looking for someone to bring with you? Try posting on local Facebook groups like Medford Moms, Dads and Caregivers!

How do I book?

We have complementary hand sanitizer and masks available for everyone at the store as well as a restroom where hand washing with soap and water is available.

Can I turn my Swap With A Friend into a membership?
Yes, and both you and your friend can get a great discount! The full price of membership is $147 annually. Both you and your friend will be eligible to receive a discount of $21 off the price of full membership (making it just $126 annually!), as long as you decide to become a member within 24 hours of your Swap With A Friend appointment.

Basic Swap & Style FAQs

1) How does it work?
SwapIt's Basic Swap & Style allows non-members to experience SwapIt with the guidance of a trained stylist. You make an appointment for you (or you and up to five friends) and get the whole store to yourself. During the appointment, you (or you and your friends) can redeem up to 10 one-to-one swaps. Give something up from your closet, get something new from our closet. You will also have the stylist at your disposal. She will listen to what you want and need, help you find the right items, be with you in the dressing room to create outfits and then put those styling finishing touches so you leave with outfits that you want to wear and make you look put together and like the awesome women you are! 

2) Why is this so exciting?
Usually swapping is reserved for members, but with Basic Swap & Style anyone can come in and swap. It's the perfect chance to have a professional help you upgrade your wardrobe. 

3) When can I book a Basic Swap & Style for?

4) How much does it cost?
While most personal styling services will cost hundreds of dollars, SwapIt’s commitment to affordability and accessibility means that you can get this great service for only $50 per hour.

 Anyone! We are inviting non-members in to experience this great and highly in-demand perk of SwapIt membership! You can book the session just for yourself to get the most outfits possible. Or you can bring up to 5 friends to make it a social event and get style help. Please note: the session comes with 10 swaps total – not 10 swaps per person. 

6) How do I book?

For example, you may end up disappointed if you walk in and say, “My goal for today is to leave with a cozy red sweater paired with bootleg jeans.” However, you will not be disappointed if you come in and say, “My goal for today is to leave with a casual outfit that is cozy and makes me feel comfortable and put-together.” 

8) What is your COVID policy?
The store is accessible by-appointment-only. We will only allow your party in the space at one time, and we will require everyone to wear a mask. 7) What can I bring in to swap? 
We accept any women's clothing, shoes and scarves. We do not accept men's or children's' clothing. All the details can be found HERE

People who wear women's clothing size 00-14. 

8) What is your COVID policy?
The store is accessible by-appointment-only. We will only allow up to 6 swappers and two staff people in the space at one time, and we will require everyone to wear a mask. We have complementary hand sanitizer and masks available for everyone at the store as well as a restroom where hand washing with soap and water is available.

9) Can I turn my All About Pants into a membership?
Yes, and you can get an added freebie! The full price of membership is $147 annually. But when you decide to become a member within a week of your All About Pants you will get a FREE month!! So your membership will be a full 13 months.
